Last year I did a performance called 'No Pain, No Cobain' in which I attempted to re-enact an imagined sequence of events that lead up to Kurt Cobain's suicide. Since then I have been obsessed with artists who re-create historical or cultural events. I especially like it when the re-enactment is carried out in an unsophisticated and unconvincing way.
